The Atlantic Tennis Academy (ATA), founded by Jason Smit in 2003, has grown to become one of the biggest tennis academies in the Western Cape. ATA has several training bases at schools within the Table View / Melkbosstrand, Sunningdale, Blouberg and Parklands area, and has its headquarters operating from Table View Tennis Club. The Academy currently has 10 full time coaches and one part-time coach.

It is our mission to:

• promote the sport to all members of our community
• provide platforms where children and adults can participate and receive professional coaching
• help our players to compete in all levels of competition.

The vision of ATA is to:

• see more people playing the great game of tennis
• see all our players realizing their full potential
• see our players competing in all levels of competition (local to professional).
